I have been suffering with depression and anxiety since I've been 30 years old. Every time I see one of the doctors who is quite new there I believe to be of Russian decent. I feel like when I tell him how I feel he looks at my in distain, and the previous time he said that it could naturally be myself that I'm a unhappy person. This made me feel worse because I feel if I was on the verge of suicide he definitely would have pushed me over . Today I told him I had a episode which I call them, when I'm not feeling well enough to get out of bed or face the world. And he just raised his eyebrows. Depression as the stigma that people don't understand whether it's chemical imbalance of the brain or hormonal I feel like this doctor should have training concerning this problem because it's just not a person being miserable or sad , it is a real condition which affect someone's life. This condition as caused me to resign from a job that I loved dearly because I couldn't cope anymore. I have been trying to get myself help which I have paid for for so long. It stops me in my tracks, it can come on whether I'm in a brilliant situation or not. The condition as made me attempt suicide over five times, cost me relationships, jobs and most of my adult life in bed or a recluse. I feel this doctor needs training in this condition just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Thank you

Medical care is great. The booking process is abysmal. Very few non-urgent appointments within a week. Today's appointments are released at 8am for that morning and 1.30 for the afternoon. How can anyone with a job plan their day? They might not get through until 8.30 and find all appointments gone and by then you're late for work without seeing a doctor. Afternoons are worse because if you call at 1.30 and get through the appointment cannot be early afternoon because you've got to get to the surgery. This system is probably very convenient for the staff though.

I cannot explain enough how their booking system frustrating is! There are so many problems to make one appointment and i have so much complaints to write on here. I am very upset even while writing at the moment. I am literally fed up with this GP. We are going to look for a new GP. PS. Please bear in mind not everyone has enough time to make calls in order to make an appointment all day.. we got a job to do!!

The new system for getting appointments is ridiculous, you cannot book any in advance but can only phone or go there on the day either at 8am or 1.30pm. It's virtually impossible to get through on the phone and if you are ill to go and queue up for half an hour at 8am to then have to go back when you finally get an appointment is a joke. The doctor I saw today was appalling, incredibly sarcastic and rude. They ask patients to treat the staff with respect but sadly this only goes one way. There is now only one female doctor who only works part time so good luck if you want to see her. This surgery has gone rapidly downhill since doctor Cyrus left and I will be moving doctors as soon as possible.
